How has life been since you started school? 

Nothing prepared me for the reality of moving overseas alone at 18. I had to navigate a new culture, build connections in an unfamiliar place, and find confidence in a language that wasn't my own. On top of that, the education system here was very different from what I was used to, and there were times when I struggled to keep up with lessons and expectations. But I always remind myself that I'll get through this and that this was just the beginning of my journey. There were many things both inside and outside of the classroom that I had never encountered before and sometimes I couldn't keep up with the lessons. However, I feel very fortunate because the lecturers and staff here are supportive and understanding helping me get through each semester since my diploma until today. The path I've walked may seem difficult but honestly, it is just a new experience. Overall, since I started school, I've grown so much as a person. 

What made you further your studies with 91看片网 Academy? 

I chose 91看片网 Academy because they offer practical, hands-on coursework and an industry-focused learning environment that match my career goals. Also, the campuses both in Marina Square and The Cathay are new, modern clean spaces and have many facilities compared to other institutions. Moreover, 91看片网 Academy’s connection with several partner universities and its diverse student community will help me develop both academically and personally while preparing me for an international career. 

What made you embark on your course / discipline? How will this programme help you to achieve your dreams? 

I have been interested in business and marketing since I was in high school. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work in marketing which made me realise that there is still so much for me to learn in this field. I enjoy creative thinking, working with ideas, and combining them with business knowledge, especially in areas such as branding, social media, and digital marketing. Studying marketing will help me achieve my future goals by developing my overall skills and strategic thinking. It will prepare me for international career opportunities and help me gain the knowledge needed to build my own business in the future. 

In what ways has your education at 91看片网 Academy contributed to your personal and professional growth? Are there any specific technical skills, concepts, or class projects that stood out to you or helped you feel more prepared for your future career? 

The school has organised many activities and events to encourage student interaction and cultural exchange, and the community is very friendly, which has made me more confident in speaking up and sharing my opinions. From a person who dislike group work and presenting, this made group activity feel easier and more enjoyable. One of the most valuable experiences for me was working on presentations and case studies, as they helped me improve my teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, especially when working with people from different backgrounds. These experiences have made me feel more prepared for my future career and for achieving my long-term goals. 

How approachable and helpful were the lecturers/tutors? Was there anyone who motivated you through the challenges of completing your course? 

The lecturers and tutors at 91看片网 Academy have been very approachable and supportive throughout my studies. They were willing to answer questions, provide guidance, and encourage students whenever we faced challenges. I really appreciated how patient and understanding they were as it created a positive learning environment and helped me stay motivated throughout the course. Their support made me feel more comfortable participating in class and motivated me to continue improving myself academically. 

What was most memorable about your time at 91看片网 Academy? 

Joining activities and events organised by the student club allowed me to meet new people from different faculties which was a great way for me to relax after a long day of studying. It gave me the opportunity to exchange ideas, have meaningful conversations and build friendships and connections with people from diverse backgrounds. Everyone in the student club is friendly and welcoming which made me feel comfortable and included and they inspired me to become a member of the student club. Through these activities, I was able to experience and learn many things beyond what is taught in the classroom. It has been a valuable experience because I have met so many amazing friends while creating wonderful memories along the way. 

What advice would you give to other students planning to study here? 

My advice to students planning to study at 91看片网 Academy is to not be afraid to ask questions, speak up, and connect with others. The lecturers, staff, and classmates are all very supportive and willing to help. I also believe that school life should not only be about studying but also about enjoying your youth, making memories, and trying new experiences. Take the initiative to join activities and start conversations because one small action can lead to unexpected opportunities and make your whole semester more meaningful and enjoyable.
